Yes! They are together again – for a movie :) the working title is Saving Forever For You.
Previously, Kris and Quezon City Mayor, Herbert, had a short but a very highly controversial relationship. In her blog titled “The State of My Heart”, Kris gave details of her relationship with Herbert:
Feb. 11, 2014 when Herbert asked for her number
Two months later in April, he proposed marriage to her. She recalled how Herbert proposed to her over a merienda, saying that he was tired of running and wanted to feel secure with someone he could grow old with. Kris accepted the proposal.
The following days they went together to a Catholic mass and Herbert had his first meeting with her family.
But then…she realized Herbert never said he loved her.
April 7, 2014 when Kris confirmed at Aquino & Abunda Tonight of her relationship with Herbert
“The next day, over the phone he broke up with me, right before Bimb’s (her son) 7th birthday party”- said Kris
There was no specific reason for the separation but according to a report Herbert’s children with ex-partner Tates Gana were negatively affected by news on the relationship
She cut her hair short. She wanted to forget how she must have looked with her hair all over her face and pillow when Herbert used to surprise her by waking her up in the morning and bringing her venti nonfat latte no foam
She also traveled a lot after the breakup – Hong Kong, New York, Boracay and Tokyo, among others
Kris recalled the last time she cried for him was Christmas Eve
Whew! It was a very long detail of a very short relationship. I hope Kris’s heart is in good condition now because she is ready to make a movie with her ex-boyfriend (almost husband). I’m expecting this will be a rom-com (romantic comedy) movie - maybe with a happy ending – because Kris said she’s doing this movie to answer the “what if” of their relationship.
