Kuya Kim prepares for heart operation



TV Patrol’s resident weatherman Kim Atienza, popularly known as Kuya Kim, will again take a leave from his shows starting Monday, November 8, to undergo a heart operation. In an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Kuya Kim disclosed that his doctors advised him to take a leave since they found a hole in his heart which caused his mild stroke last August. “The doctors discovered that the cause of the stroke maybe the hole in my heart. They will cover the hole in my heart.” Kuya Kim asked all his supporters to say a prayer for him so that his operation would be successful. Paul Soriano reacts to Toni's kissing scene


Toni Gonzaga’s director boyfriend Paul Soriano has no problem with her girlfriend kissing another - but just on-screen! “When it’s on cam, she can kiss anybody she wants,” Soriano told “Showbiz News Ngayon” in an exclusive interview. Soriano said he will give his full support for Gonzaga and Cruz’s movie. He also said he is already excited about it. Soriano also revealed that he even asked Cruz to take care of Gonzaga during the shooting of the movie. This is the first time Cruz and Gonzaga will team up in a movie. Harry Potter star Watson "felt sick" when told of riches


"Harry Potter" actress Emma Watson said that for years she had no idea how much money she was earning from her role as Hermione Granger in the hit movie franchise, and that she felt sick when she finally realized. Watson, 20, told the British edition of Vogue magazine's December issue that she was 17 or 18 years old when she had a "money conversation" with her father. "By the third or fourth film, the money was starting to get ... serious. I had no idea. I felt sick, very emotional. It was a real shock," the actress told Vogue in the interview. Until then, she had been living on an allowance of about 50 pounds a week. She took a money management course and she now has an estimated fortune of about 20 million pounds. Top networks vie for Venus Raj's nod


Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up Venus Raj admits she is being courted by the country's three major networks. Raj disclosed so during a recently concluded fashion show for a denim brand. “Its true, I have big offer from TV 5. Also from ABS-CBN and GMA-7,” she said. But this early, Raj revealed that she is partial to GMA-7. “Yes, my priority is GMA-7. In fact, they will get my as a contract star,” she crowed.
