Justin Bieber's Manila concert on May 10, tickets sold out



The singing sensation Justin Bieber will have his concert at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on May 20, 2011. But unlike other upcoming concerts, the tickets were already sold out four months before the date! We attempted to buy tickets but according to the ticket outlet, TicketWorld, "Call (+632) 891.9999. Give your contact infos and we will inform you when the tickets are ready for purchase."

Janet Jackson in Manila on February 4, 2011



Manila is Janet Jackson's first destination among the 35 cities where she will perform her Janet's Number Ones-Up Close and Personal World Tour. She will dedicate one song in each city and will also recognize 20 young people whose work have enriched their communities. Janet's concert will be held at PICC Plenary Hall. And if you're wondering how much is the ticket will cost, its ranging between Php15,500 and Php3,100.

Oprah Winfrey opens OWN



Oprah Winfrey launched her network, OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network), a joint venture between Discovery Communications and Harpo. Oprah is from a town in Mississippi and grown up without a television. "I thought about standing on that red dirt road ... watching TV from a Sears and Roebuck store, asking my grandmother if I could get a television, and she said 'No, that's the devil's work'," Oprah recalls.

Maggie Q as Nikita, a series to watch in 2011

Ogie & Regine donate P1 million to Gawad Kalinga



Newlywed singers, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez, donated 1 million pesos to Gawad Kalinga foundation out of their wedding gifts. The couple asked their guests to give cash instead of material gifts. The singers are also planning to build a music center in Gawad Kalinga center to cater musically talented youths in the community.
