Remake of Mula sa Puso in ABS-CBN soon




Mula sa Puso was a tv series of ABS-CBN (March 1997-April 1999) where the main characters were Claudine Barretto, Deither Ocampo and the late Rico Yan. Among the artists who moved their audience through their characters were Jaclyn Jose as Magda (Magdalena Trinidad) and Princess Punzalan as Selina Pereira-Matias. The Kapamilya network is doing a remake of this series and its main characters include Lauren Young as Olivia "Via" Pereira/Ella Peralta, JM de Guzman as Gabriel Maglayon, Dawn Zuleta as Magdalena Trinidad, Eula Valdez as Selina Pereira-Matias, Enrique Gil as Michael Miranda and Charee Pineda as Trina.

ABS-CBN's Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin starts on March 7



One of ABS-CBN's newest primetime shows is an all star cast tv series composed of Coco Martin, Boots Anson-Roa, Maja Salvador, Andi Eigenmann, John Estrada, Amy Austria, Lorna Tolentino, Tonton Gutierrez, with participation of Kim Chiu, Agot Isidro, Angel Aquino, Xian Lim and Erich Gonzales. It is said that Coco has the most challenging, biggest role (in his career, so far) in this action-romance-drama series, one character as a soldier and the other one as a bandit.

Katie Holmes files case against Star magazine



Hollywood actress and wife of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, is filing a USD50 million case against Star magazine who allegedly claimed the actress as a drug addict. The said magazine's January issue described the Dawson's Creek star with title line "Addiction Nightmare. Katie Drug Shocker!".

Mariel Rodriguez will be a June bride



Another wedding is coming up for Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez. This time is a Catholic church wedding set in June 2011. The groom said this time they will not keep their wedding as a secret, unlike their previous 'marriages', from the public.

Willie Revillame promotes Eat Bulaga




Willie Revillame promoted 'Eat Bulaga!' when he plug the noontime show last January 26. Joey de Leon, one of the hosts of the longest-running variety show, said Willie only did it because two of his close friends (John Estrada and Randy Santiago) accepted the noontime show in ABS-CBN without consulting him first. According to Journal Online, Joey is open for a guesting in 'Willing Willie', as long as his schedule is free, as he is also one of Kapatid network talents. Meanwhile, Willie's co-host Shalani Soledad denies the rumor that she is having a romantic relationship with Willie.
