Miss Lillie, as fondly called by the Royal Family, was the only Filipino invited to the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. She was Prince William and Prince Harry's nanny for 14 years and she has also served Princess Diana. She is the only Filipina who have ever worked with the Royal Family. She left the Royal Household shortly after Princess Diana's death.

This is Miss Lillie's story on her re-encounter with her former 'little master', Prince William.

Miss Lillie had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Clarence House, together with other royal staff, on the day of the wedding, April 29, 2011. When the Royal Couple arrived at the Clarence House from Buckingham Palace, all of the royal staff were lined up at the courtyard. The couple received a loud applause from everyone in the Clarence House when all of a sudden Miss Lillie heard Prince William calling her, 'Hi Lillie', then he hugged and kissed her.
Miss Lillie wasn't able to say anything but stunned by the Prince's gesture to her. Prince William was happy that Miss Lillie was able to attend his wedding and also asked how she was. Kate also kissed her and asked how she knew the Prince. Miss Lillie said everyone was looking at them because the Royal Couple stopped at her and talked to her.

Miss Lillie said that Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, also went to the Clarence House and upon seeing her, the Prince asked her how she was and where is she currently working. Miss Lillie told the Prince that she already retired.

Miss Lillie added that while she was having some snacks at the Clarence House, she was tapped by someone on the shoulder. She was surprised to see that it was Prince Harry. She tried to get up to curtsy to him but Prince Harry told her to just sit and he kissed Miss Lillie.
The next day after the wedding, April 30, Miss Lillie was surprised by a phone call from the butler at the Clarence House, Bernie. He said that it was Prince William's instruction to make the call to thank Miss Lillie for attending his wedding and that the Prince was so happy to see her there.

A Royal Family indeed with royal kindness in their hearts for remembering Miss Lillie as part of their lives.

Pokwang a new host of Happy Yipee Yehey!

Pokwang is said to be the latest addition to the hosts of Happy Yipee Yehey, which will be announced by ABS-CBN this weekend (April 30, 2011). I think a noontime show would need Pokwang to make its rating to a higher level. She just reconciled with Eat Bulaga's Joey de Leon (a noontime show of another network, GMA-7) after 3 years of rift on 'aswang' issue. Now it's not Pokwang versus Joey de Leon but rather Happy Yipee Yehey versus Eat Bulaga (in a friendly competition, of course!). Go Powkie!

AJ Perez & Rico Yan (coincidence or fate?)

AJ Perez, a Philippine actor who recently died on a road mishap, was a fan of another actor, Rico Yan, who also died at a young age. Coincidence or fate? Both actors were members of Star Magic of ABS-CBN network. Both studied at De La Salle University. They both have used the character name of 'Miguel' (Rico as Miguel in Dahil Mahal Na Mahal Kita and AJ as Miguel in BFF Best Friends Forever). Both have one Maalaala Mo Kaya episode (AJ's episode will be shown on April 30, 2011). They are both buried at the Manila Memorial Park, Paranaque City. Now, are these coincidences or fate?
