Pilar Pilapil, 1967 Binibining Pilipinas-Universe, is now out of danger and recovering at The Medical City in Pasig City after she was stabbed by suspected carjackers in Antipolo. Pilar, 60, was cruising along Marikina Riverbanks on Thursday night with a companion when they were stopped by motorcycle-riding armed men. Pilar was stabbed and thrown out of their Kia car to a vacant lot in Antipolo. She was lucky enough that residents in the area found her and rushed to a nearby hospital.
